Todd Smith, of C. Todd Smith Law, has recently began his term as governor-elect for the Florida District of Kiwanis International.
His election as governor-elect means he will be the sole candidate for governor of Florida Kiwanis in 2017. This will give Todd the opportunity to serve in a leadership role across the entire state of Florida.
The Kiwanis organization is an international organization made up of volunteers changing the world. These volunteers provide service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, promote childhood literacy, work to eliminate disease, and much more. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. Give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, you can expect to see great things happen.
Todd has given his time as a regular volunteer. Todd’s made financial contributions to numerous charitable organizations including UCP of Central Florida, Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida, The Hubbard House at Orlando Health. He strongly supports his club’s service leadership programs as an advisor to the Colonial High School Key Club. Todd is responsible for his club’s Bring Up Grades (BUG) program at Cherokee School for at-risk students. The BUG program seeks to motivate and reward students for their success.
