Background
C. Todd Smith is the founder of the C. Todd Smith Law Firm which focuses in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury law, including wrongful death cases, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, and first party insurance disputes. The firm’s mission is to help people in need by advocating for the injured and to serve our community by supporting and volunteering for numerous local charities. Todd grew up in the Apopka area and graduated from the Cumberland School of Law in 1994.
Community Involvement
Todd is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Orlando–Winter Park, a past chair of the Florida Kiwanis Social Media committee, and is currently serving as a Lieutenant Governor for Florida Kiwanis. As a member of Kiwanis, Todd has given his time as a volunteer and financially contributed to numerous charitable organizations including UCP of Central Florida, Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida, The Hubbard House, Meals on Wheels, and volunteers as a mentor to students at Esteem Academy and Colonial High School.
Legal Community
Todd is a member of the Florida Justice Association, American Association for Justice, Orange County Bar Association, and a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer for the Orlando Legal Aid Society. Todd serves as the chair of the Technology Committee of the Orange County Bar Association and advocates for its members to use technology to better serve their clients and the public. Todd has conducted workshops and presentations in the areas of law office management, social media, mobile technology, and other law‐related topics. Todd is also a participant in the Orange County Bar Association Leadership Law program, class of 2013.
