How is your I-4 Commute? If you use I-4 to get around Orlando, then you know it’s kind of a mess right now. However, as the picture above shows, it’s going to be really nice when it’s finished (whenever that is). The project is one of the largest ever undertaken in our area, and all things considered, the project is making good progress. The 21-mile makeover goes from west of Kirkman Road in Orange County to east of State Road 434 in Seminole County. The goal is to improve our quality of life, better connect our communities, and give a boost to our economy. If you want to see more pictures of what it will look like when it’s complete, just visit https://i4ultimate.com/news-media-resources/renderings/.
You can also sign up for text message alerts to keep you informed about road closures and project updates. While the project won’t be finished for a few more years, remember to drive with caution, pay attention to lane shifts, construction workers, and watch out for your fellow drivers. Stay safe and have a happy I-4 commute!
